La Vida Rustica: Bee Season

I am a mother/step mother, musician and wife of an elegantly crusty apiarist and wanna-be currach builder. We are hopeful urban farmers trying to do some useful things with our produce, and some worthwhile things with our skills and time like; helping people make music and build gardens; preserving olives; tending chickens; rescuing bees; harvesting honey; knitting socks; baking sour dough bread; and trying to raise kids with good eating habits, a voracious appetite for books, healthy curiousity and a dry sense of humour. So far so good...
