new year, new blog

 We use the word rustica a lot around here - it's our affectionate term for our low budget life and generally the aesthetic we prefer. If it gets done in a hurry and is a bit slap dash it's simply 'rustica', with its own innate charm. 

We have been in Adelaide with family for Christmas. It was a real holiday, beach visits, sunburn suntans, daily ice cream, reading books, drinking champagne, eating out. Heavenly to have B & B with us for so much precious time. 

Now I am home, slowly preparing for another year of Uni; hoping there are songs down here somewhere ready to come out and be written and sung.
